Referent Digital Pricing (m/w)

Your job:

Global Responsibility:

  • Develop global digital pricing strategy, methods and tools with focus on hybrid products (combinations of components and software), software and online pricing (incl. dynamic/personalized pricing, price promotions)
  • Define guideline for products with public prices and monitor the pricing for the Sales channel E-Biz and Distribution
  • Ensure integration of new pricing mechanisms in existing systems and processes (e.g. price list adjustments, price approvals/CAP, transfer pricing, MRP planning, price performance analysis)
  • Develop pricing intelligence approach on cluster level
  • Business Partner for the digital business unit

Key Activities:

  • Development of overall digital pricing strategy and pricing intelligence approach with the digital business unit
  • Support of the digital business unit in the development of digital business models, incl. review of technical feasibility and alignment with existing systems/processes
  • Development of price positioning for hybrid products and software together with the digital business units
  • Evaluation of digital pricing mechanisms and design of supportive processes and tools on global and cluster level
  • Observation of digital pricing trends/competitor activities and evaluation of implications for Festo
  • Monitoring of the competitor’s public price lists and initiation of corresponding actions in close cooperation
  • Development of data mining approaches together with the Sales Analytics Team
  • Close cooperation with the function of the strategic marketing HQ team as well as selected clusters, IT and the digital business unit

Your qualification:

  • Completed studies in economics/business administration or as a business engineer
  • At least five years’ experience in the area of new digital business models.
  • More than 3 years of experience in the area of digital pricing is a must, further experience in marketing or management consulting would be an advantage
  • Very good knowledge in relevant tools and market research methodology on the market
  • Data analytical skills would be an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management, in teamwork in a multicultural environment, very good analytic abilities, clear understanding of figures and assertive
  • Excellent communication skills in English that enable him/her to present even complex concepts in an understandable and attractive manner to all level of hierarchies, other language skills are also advantageous
  • Very good knowledge of the Festo products/services as well as a very sound expertise for the clusters in charge of
  • Used to work towards an end and to contribute the ability to shape processes successfully
